Day 1 Arrive Hanoi

Day 2 Hanoi City Tour

A buffet breakfast & fresh coffee will kick start your day. Your car, driver and tour guide will be ready to start your Hanoi City Tour.
Firstly visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his house on stilt, the botanical garden and the Presidential palace. Presidential palace is the most fussy and expensive construction at that time but Ho Chi Minh refused to live in this luxurious building. He said it was totally unsuitable for his poor and starving people. Besides, learning about Ho Chi Minh's life and revolutionary activities.
On the way out visit One Pillar Pagoda. Based on Kinh Ly Thai Tong's dream, One Pillar Pagoda was built in 1049 and included a pillar in the middle of a lotus pond, and a temple of lotus-shape, that reflected literally meaning: “long lasting happiness and good luck. (Note: Please be aware that the One Pillar Pagoda in Hanoi is closed for renovation work until January 2015).
Next, continually explore the Temple of Literature. Located 2km west of Hoan Kiem Lake, the complex is a famous historical and cultural relic consisting of the Temple of Literature and the first university in Vietnam. Have chance to learn more about education in Vietnam since 1000 years ago until recent history in tranquil atmosphere.
After lunch time in a local Restaurant with local Vietnamese traditional Cuisines, continue to visit the interesting Ethnology Museum. Located in the west of Hanoi's centre, this museum offers informative and well-documented display about 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam, include elaborate and colorful hill-tribe costumes, musical instruments, work tools, stilt houses, etc.
Around 15:30, discover Hoan Kiem Lake (Restored Sword lake) and Ngoc Son temple that situated in the heart of Hanoi. Listen to a special legend story about Hoan Kiem lake and understand a part of Vietnamese worship towards Tran Hung Dao, the general who defeated the Mongols in the 13th century.
After that, take the 1hour-cyclo tour around Hanoi Old Quarter through its charming streets which are named after the guilds such as Hang Bac (Silver Street), Hang Gai (Silk Street), Hang Tre (Bamboo Street) etc…
Finally, finish unforgettable full day Hanoi Sightseeing by come back to hotel.

Day 3 Hanoi - Halong Bay on cruise

Today, leave charming Hanoi for the 3.5 hours drive to Halong Bay – World Natural Heritage site.
Welcome on board for a junk cruise, and set sail in the bay. While lunch is served, the junk passages slowly through the fabulous sightseeing of the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons' teeth.
After lunch time, take a stop at a peaceful island, so you can have a short trek to a nearby summit for a panoramic view of the bay. Besides, swimming on cool water, walking along beautiful beach or sunbathing on the sundeck are also interesting.
Late afternoon, visit an interesting fishing village, interact with fishermen who have been living in the bay for almost three generations, and understand daily life of local people.
At sunset, kayak or simply take a bamboo row boat to discover a water tunnel with many coral reefs in a scenic lagoon.
Back on board, watching the peaceful sunset, and other sparkling boats while enjoying great dinner at restaurant.

Day 4 Halong Bay - Hanoi - Hue

Wake up on the bay among the sounds of waves and bird welcoming. Start a new day by doing Taichi and admiring sunrise over the bay, your mind seems to be peaceful and closer to nature.
After breakfast, visit a beautiful limestone grotto. Then walk back to the boat for a final glimpse of Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock.
Back to Hanoi after 3.5 hours drive. Transfer to Hanoi Airport,and then take the flight to Hue

Day 5 Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An

Start your day in the ancient land by enjoying a great breakfast in the hotel.
Then, take a private boat for a cruise on the romantic Perfume River. Being called as Perfume River because it flows through many forests of plants and flowers, so it brings the fragrance of flora. There are many attractions on both sides that you can admire while boating such as: the citadel, town, gardens, pagodas, towers and temples, etc.
Have chance to visit Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu Pagoda), which was built in 1601 based on a special legend, lying among a large garden of blooming flowers and plants. After that, take a drive to visit King Minh Mang's tomb and King Tu Duc’ tomb,here admiring magnificent ancient architecture and listening to many relevant meaningful historical stories.
Have lunch at local restaurant.
Leave the UNESCO-designated World Heritage Hue to another World Heritage Hoi An Ancient town over the Hai Van Pass. After about 2 hours, you stop in Da Nang for a visit to the Cham Museum and handicraft villages on the foot of Marble Mountain before arriving in Hoi An. It takes about 1 hour to drive from Da Nang to Hoi An.
Once in Hoi An, you will check into hotel and have free time to explore the town by yourself here.

Day 6 Hoi An City Tour

Have breakfast at Hotel to start a new day.
Driver and tour guide pick you up at your hotel, start your half day city tour. After about 20- 30 minutes for the drive, participate in walking tour around this enchanting port town.
Follow the narrow lanes lined with centuries-old houses influenced by Chinese, Japanese, French and European architectures; and then visit its numerous places of interest such as the Phuc Kien Assembly Halls, the local fish market…
Especially, have chance to admire 400-year old Japanese Bridge. Despite that the original architecture of bridge was Japan, after being restored there are some new features like carved woods, decorations based on Chinese and Vietnamese architecture. Inside Japanese bridge is a shrine of Bac De Tran Vo, who controls weather.
Around the town, there are numerous art galleries and tailor shops, get some made-to-order clothes if you like.
In midday, have lunch at local restaurant.

Day 7 Hoi An - HCMC

Your free day to walk around Hoi An.
After that, it takes about 30 minutes to transfer from Hoi An town to Da Nang Airport. And then take the 1 hour- flight to Ho Chi Minh.
Pick up at Ho Chi Minh airport, transfer to your hotel, check in and relax after flight.

Day 8 Mekong Delta Discovery

A buffet breakfast will be serving at your hotel.
Around 08.00, pick up at Hotel and it takes about more than 1 hour to reachCai Be town, sightseeing fruit garden and beautiful landscape on the way. Take a boat to Cai Be Floating Market, it is considered unsleeping market because at even about 4.00am, you can catch the sights of almost boats gathering on rivers. Here sellers and buyers bargain and exchange goods right in their boats, has become the symbol of Mekong Delta.
Visiting orchard, your trip seems to be colored by various fresh fruits. Here people grow durian, milk durian original from Ben Tre, grapefruit, sweet orange, special Hoa Loc mango, etc. Not only understand the work of local orchardists, tourists also can taste those delicious fresh fruits.
In addition, here enjoying Cai Luong (kind of traditional song of Mekong Delta people) are another ways to understand Mekong delta’s culture.
